The problem
An owner who sells direct keeps the calendar in a spreadsheet, contracts in a word processor, tourist tax in another file and reminders in a mailbox. Each tool works on its own, none talks to the others, and one copying mistake costs an invoice or a night.
Holifolio puts all of it in a single tool, designed for weekly and weekend holiday lets.
What it does

- Generated for every booking, with no copy and paste.
- Deposit, balance, invoices
- The deposit-then-balance cycle is tracked. Every invoice and credit note is numbered and never edited after the fact.
- Tourist tax
- Calculated per stay, with a register and a reminder of the amount to declare.
- Bank reconciliation
- You import your bank statement and payments are matched to the right bookings.
- Cleaning and reminders
- A cleaning schedule for each property, and reminder and welcome e-mails sent automatically.
- Six languages
- Documents and e-mails in the guest's own language.
Who it is for, and who it is not
For owners of several holiday homes who sell direct: their own website, Gîtes de France, word of mouth. Holifolio was built with a holiday-home owner in the Hérault, on real bookings.
- It is not a channel manager. Holifolio does not sync live with Airbnb or Booking: it complements your iCal calendar.
- It is not hotel software. No rooms and no till: you bill by the week and the weekend, like a furnished-let owner.
- It is not a payment provider. Bank transfer, cheque, ANCV holiday vouchers or card remain yours; Holifolio reconciles them.
